Power Connect was born out of Tranex Solar – one of Australia’s leading delivery partners in the construction of large-scale solar and battery power plants.


Over the past decade, the Tranex team has successfully delivered projects ranging from 5 MW to over 100 MW across Australia, working with some of the country’s biggest renewable developers and utilities. Collectively, these projects now generate enough clean electricity to power more than 1.2 million Australian homes each year, a contribution that continues to grow as new solar farms are built and connected to the grid.

After years of helping build the nation’s renewable backbone, we saw a new opportunity: to bring the same level of engineering excellence, reliability, and performance used on utility-scale projects into smaller, modular power systems that could operate anywhere – on farms, mine sites, construction projects, and remote communities.

That idea became Power Connect. A company focused on delivering smart, self-contained hybrid power systems that combine solar, battery storage, and backup generation into one rugged, plug-and-play solution. Every system is designed to reduce diesel use, cut emissions, and give customers true energy independence. All built with the same standards that have powered Australia’s largest solar projects.
